This projects targets the grassroots that constitute about 70 percent of the Nigerian Population. Poverty exits in all countries of the world but how each nation manages the situation is what makes it apparent or less visible, whichever way you view it, poverty resides in every nation and can only be curtailed and probably not completely eliminated.
Special attention will be given to women in the execution of this project because most of them belong to the low income groups. Domestic burden coupled with reproductive responsibilities have reduced women's opportunities. In the corporate world, when official work is at peak, sometimes in the afternoons, some working class ladies may shift focus to how to collect their children from schools. Most Employers of labour have targets and may not excuse a young mother time off to take care of her children. It is then a question of "Do the job or go and attend your family".
Incidentally in some cases, intelligent , promising and creative ladies have been sent out of their hard-earned professions by domestic and family care- giving pressures. In situations like this, some young women never recover from the destabilization and get poorer each day while their male counterparts record upgrading daily in their chosen careers. These ladies may result into petty trading and unsustainable employment which do not befit their academic or professional accomplishments.
If women are agents of reproduction and chief human care- providers, they should be given priority in all concerns.
