HOW IS WODIA FUNDED ?
Womeen Development International Association
(WODIA)which is a Non-Governmental
Organization (NGO) is funded by philanthropic
individuals and organizations, projects and
contributions from her Board of Directors.
It is difficult for WODIA to raise sufficient funds
for most of her outlined projects due to the dull
economic climate of Nigeria.
WODIA, a Non-Profit Organization has not
received funds or grants from any International
Funder as at now. Local funding and support have
been effectvely utilized to implement strategic
prgrams that have enhanced the status of women
and the indigent members of the Nigerian
communities.
HELP NEEDED
WODIA needs a lot of funding support from both
local philanthropists and International grant
makers to be able to realize her set objectives.
One of the major projects of WODIA is to train
more than 5,000 women and youths in the next
two years in various vocational training for skill
aquisition, economic self-reliance, prostitution
reduction, HIV/AIDS control, health
management, crime prevention, poverty and
premature death reduction.
WODIA calls on all lovers of humanity to support
this project of about N100,000,000 (one hundred
million Naira only) equivalent of $400,000 (four
hundred US Dollars only).
PUBLICITY OF FUNDING ORGANIZATIONS
The names of all supporting institutions of the
above project will be publicised nationally and
internationally. The project will be branded with
the names of funders. Supporting organizations
will be free to nominate or suggest names of
beneficiaries and should be prepared to visit
WODIA for regular inspection of the project.
