WODIA continually visited the groups that participated in the program during and after the project to assess the impact of the exercise on the audience. Random interviews were conducted and observations made in order to find out the effectiveness of the poverty-reduction initiative. Reports were made and presented to stake holders for continuity of implementation, improvements or adjustment of program.
CONCLUSION: This Poverty-Reduction Project has the motive of bridging the communication gap between the grassroots who constitute the needy and the Micro finance organizations that constitute the providers. Communication experts have argued that inefficiency or insufficiency of communication strategy is a major contributor to personal , organizational or national underdevelopment. Providing information to the Nigerian masses on where to seek financial support that allows for guarantees that match the borrowers’capacities will enhance creativity and improve the living conditions of the people.
There would be improvement in the value of life of the marginalized group especially women most of whom have been excluded from national development and economy .
