Our Aims And Objectives, Our Mission And Vision |
Some of the Aims and Objectives of WODIA are::
1. To initiate actions that will enhance the status of women and assist in her
self-actualization and life fulfillment.
2.To map out strategies leading to : relief from poverty, health promotion, economic
advancement, effective child care , efficient family planning and HIV/AIDS reduction
3. To provide women and the public with a forum for exchange of ideas, technical
skills and resources for individual and community development
4. To erect a place that will enhance the health, education, access to information and economic
well-being of women and family members
5. To organize workshops/seminars, meetings, sports and fitness, awareness campaign etc.
To have a voice against prostitution, teenage pregnancies, maternal mortality, HIV/AIDS, violence
against women, divorce and other related issues that may act as obstacles to societal progress,
women development and survival.
The Mission Statement
The primary mission of Women Development International Association WODIA) is to alleviate
poverty amongst women and the public and strengthen individual capacities towards
achieving life targets
Our Vision
The vision of WODIA is to have a world where women can attain the highest levels of ambitions
without gender or economic barriers and where individuals live a comfortable and worthwhile life.
The Association has the vision of being recognized and working in harmony with communities ,
Local, state, federal government and other local and international Non-Governmental Organizations
to make her vision realizable.
