Women Development International Association (WODIA) was
registered as a Non-Profit organization in Nigeria in 2007 and has
implemented several programs that have led to the health
improvement and poverty alleviation of several women and the
under served persons of the Nigerian populace. These include the
elderly, the disabled, youths and the marginalized members of the
community.
WODIA , a Non Governmental Organization (NGO), defends human
rights and supports activities that will promote self actualization of
women, the poor and the underprivileged members of the society.
The Association is non-religious, non-racial, non-ethnic without
geographical boundaries.
Few of the achievements recorded as a result of WODIA's
Interventions are as follows :

- More than 14,000 women and men have attended and
benefited from the Health Enhancement and Longevity
Programs (HELP) seminars being organized regularly by
WODIA in collaboration with High Profile National and
International Health Agencies
- Over 1,000 women and poor people have accessed
microcredit soft loans with affordable terms through
WODIA's collaborative efforts with Microfinance Banks
- More than 400 youths were empowered with various
vocational Skills
- Above 50 widows have been given small financial
- More than 30 disabled persons had been given wheel
Chairs
- About 26 Commercial Sex Workers (CSW) have secured
employments
